IBPS RRB CWEs - V (2016) Notification Out !!

IBPS has released the notification for the online examination for Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (RRBs- CWE-V) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose). A total of 56 RRBs are participating in this CWE.

The following are the major changes that one can spot in the latest notification, as compared to the notifications released in the past for CWE of RRBs.

  1. From this year on wards, the online exams for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I will be conducted at two levels - Prelim and Main 
  2. The online exams for Officers Scale II and Scale III will be a Single Level Exam ( Same as earlier ) 
  3. The Prelim Exam for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I comprises only two sections - Quant & Reasoning. There is no section on English Language. Duration of Prelim Exam is 45 minutes and Max Marks is 80

  • Online Examination – Preliminary Officer Scale-I - 5th & 6th Nov 2016; Office Assistant- 12th & 13th Nov 2016 & 19th Nov 2016 (if required) 
  • Online Examination – Main Officers (I, II & III) – 11.12.2016 
  • Office Assistant - 18.12.2016 
  • Online registration window & Payment of fee - 14.09.2016 to 30.09.2016 
  • Download of call letters for online examination – Preliminary Officer Scale-I- October 2016; Office Assistant – November 2016 
  • Declaration of Result – Main (For Officers Scale I, II and III): December 2016 
  • Interviews ( Scale I, II, III) : Jan 2017 
  • Provisional Allotment - Feb 2017

(B) Eligibility Criteria : 

Age (as on 01-09-2016) : 

  • Scale III Officer - Above 21 years and below 40 years 
  • Scale II Officer - Above 21 and below 32 years 
  • Scale I Officer - Above 18 and below 30 
  • Office Assistants - 18 - 28 year 
  • Relaxation in age for reserved category as per government rules.

Education qualification ( As on 30.09.2016) : 

  • Office Assistants and Scale - I Officer: Degree. 
  • Scale III Officer: Degree with 50% marks in aggregate ( 5 Years work Ex.) 
  • Scale II Officer - Specialists Officer : Professional qualifications as related to the posts ( 1-2 years work Ex) 
  • Scale II Officer - General Banking Officer : Degree with 50% marks in aggregate ( Two years work Ex) 
Language Proficiency

The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants – (Multipurpose) will be able to register their preference only to such RRBs if they possess the proficiency in the local language as prescribed against the name of the RRB in the advertisement. (The condition does not apply for the posts of Officer Scale II and III).

(C) Application fee details :

(1) Scale I, II and III Officers - Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD and Rs 600 for others. (2) Office Assistants - Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM and Rs 600 for others

FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE I – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.

FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE II (GENERALIST AND SPECIALIST) AND SCALE III – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE SINGLE LEVEL EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING
