IBPS had announced tentative number of vacancies during the release of notifications for PO, Clerk and SO during 2018. The number of vacancies were announced in IBPS notifications based on the details received from from the participating organisations.

Over the last few years we have seen that the number of vacancies increase slightly when the provisional allotments are announced by the bank, after the final results are out.

Now that the provisional allotment lists for PO, Clerk and SO under CWE VIII are out, this year has seen a whopping increase of 8629 vacancies for PO+Clerk+SO for 2018.

Clerks :

• Tentative vacancies announced by participating organisations as mentioned in the notification = 6905
• Number of provisional allotments that were done after the final result was out = 14206.
• An increase of 7301 vacancies !!

SO :

• Tentative vacancies announced by participating organisations as mentioned in the notification = 1599
• Number of provisional allotments that were done after the final result was out = 2025
• An increase of 426 vacancies !!

PO :

• Tentative vacancies announced by participating organisations as mentioned in the notification = 4252
• Number of provisional allotments that were done after the final result was out = 5154
• An increase of 902 vacancies !!
