IBPS CRP RRBs VIII ( 2019) Notification Out !! 9200+ posts

IBPS has released the notification for the online examination for Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (RRBs- CWE-VIII) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose). A total of 45 RRBs are participating in this recruitment.process. The number of posts announced this year are about 10% less than the number of posts announced in 2018.

(A) Important Dates :

  • Online Examination – Preliminary Officer Scale-I - 03.08.2019, 04.08.2019 and 11.08.2019
  • Online Examination Prelim - Office Assistant : 17.08.2019, 18.08.2019 & 25.08.2019
  • Online Examination – Main /Single : Officers (I, II & III) – 22.09.2019
  • Online Examination Main Office Assistant - 27.09.2019
  • Online registration window & Payment of fee - 18.06.2019 to 04.07.2019
  • Download of call letters for online examination – Prelim - July 2019
  • Declaration of Result – Main/Single (For Officers Scale I, II and III): October 2019
  • Interviews ( Scale I, II, III) : November 2019
  • Provisional Allotment - Jan 2020

  2. Office Assistants : 4371 posts ( Last year - 5429)
  3. Officer Scale I : 3545 (Last Year - 3312)
  4. Officer Scale II ( GBO) : 912 (Last Year -1208)
  5. Officer Scale II ( Specialist) : 284 (last Year -229)
  6. Officer Scale III : 158 (Last Year -160)

(B) Eligibility Criteria :

(I) Age (As on 01.06.2019) :

For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years - Below 40 years

For Officer Scale- II (Manager)- Above 21 years - Below 32 years

For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years - Below 30 years

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Between 18 years and 28 years

(II) Educational Qualification(As on 04.07.2019):

Officer - Graduation for GBO ( 50% for Scale II) and Graduation / PG in relevant subjects for SO as given in notification. Experience also required for some posts.

  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWBD/EXSM candidates. and Rs. 600/- for all others

(E) Final Selection and Interview:

FOR THE POST OF OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE) – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.

FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE I – MARKS OBTAINED ONLY IN THE MAIN EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING. FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS SCALE II (GENERALIST AND SPECIALIST) AND SCALE III – MARKS OBTAINED IN THE SINGLE LEVEL EXAMINATION WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND FINAL MERIT LISTING.
