IBPS has released the detailed notification for conducting the 9th CWE for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in 17 Public Sector Banks.

(A) Important Dates:

  • Online registration & fee payment: 06.11.2019 - 26.11.2019
  • Online Prelim Exam: 28.12.2019 and 29.12.2019
  • Online Main Exam: 25.01.2020

Negative Marking( Prelim and Main): There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.

Note: MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SHORTLISTING FOR INTERVIEW AND ALSO FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.

(E) Common Interview:

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (Main Exam) and interview will be 80:20 respectively

(F) Application Fee:

  • Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
  • Rs. 600 /- for all others
