This post is for all readers and aspirants who were worried about the lesser number of vacancies (1417) when the PO/MT Notification was out in Aug !!

IBPS has released a notification with an increased number of vacancies. The increase is by a whopping 2100 posts !!

When the notification for IBPS PO/MT 2020 was released in Aug, the total PO vacancies that were announced were 1417. With Canara Bank announcing 2100 posts, the total number of PO/MT posts now stands at 3517.

Two more major Banks, Indian Bank, and PNB are yet to report the vacancies. And when these Banks report the vacancies, the number could go up by another thousand or so !!

• PO/Mt Vacancies announced in 2019 Notification: 4336
• PO/MT Vacancies announced for 2020-21, till date: 3517 ( Two major Banks yet to report)
