The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) around the country.

CLAT is organized by the Consortium of NLUs consisting of the representative universities.

The Executive Committee of the Consortium of NLUs met on 6th January 2021 to consider rescheduling the date of the CLAT 2021 exam due to a clash with the CBSE Board examination schedule. The date has been rescheduled from the previously announced 9th May 2021 to 13th June 2021 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM. Both the UG and PG exams shall be conducted on this date.
