SBI has released the notification for the engagement of Apprentices. Total number of training seats are 6160.

(A) Important Dates :

Online Registration : 01.09.2023 TO 21.09.2023

Online Examination : October / November 2023

(B) Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.08.2023) :

Educational Qualification : Graduation from a recognized University/ Institute.

Age : Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years

(C) Duration of Training and Stipend :

Duration of training is of one year. The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.

(D) Selection Procedure :

Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of (i) online written test and (ii) test of local language.

The structure of online written examination (online objective type) would be as follows:

Except for the test of General English, Test questions for Written examination shall be set in 13 Regional Languages viz. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu , Urdu in addition to English and Hindi Language.

Test of local language: The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate as evidence of having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

(E) Registration Charges :

Rs300 for Genela /EWS/OBC and NIL for SC/ST/PwBD
