The candidates selected for the posts of Tax Assistant in CBDT and Inspector of Income Tax in CBDT on the basis of SSC CGLE 2023 are directed to indicate/ exercise his/her preferences, in order of priority for allotment of 18 regions under Income Tax Department (CBDT) all over the country, in the prescribed format. The candidates should fill in the preferences by 26.12.2023.

The duly filled form should be sent by email only to on recruitmentcell.hrd@incometax.gov.in.

Candidates should note that if they fail to indicate his/her preferences in said FORMAT by 26.12.2023 the REGION/STATE will be allotted to him/her, on the basis of merit-cum-preference, by this Directorate and NO REQUEST for change of allotted region will be entertained.

The candidates are directed to submit ONLY ONE PREFERENCE FORM and no change in preferences would be allowed. It may also be noted that INCOMPLETE FORMS WOULD BE REJECTED and not be considered for the purpose of allocation.
