The RRBs have recently released the notification for the recruitment of 5696 Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) across various Railway zones. The opening date of application was 20.01.2024 and the closing date is 19.02.2024

• The first stage (CBT 1) exams for this post are tentatively scheduled to be held between June and August 2024.


• The second stage (CBT 2) exams are tentatively scheduled to take place in September 2024.


• Aptitude Test (CBAT) is scheduled for November 2024.


• After Aptitude Test, the Shortlist for Document Verification will be released in November 2024/ December 2024.

The circular also mentions that the next cycle of recruitment for ALPs is tentatively planned for Jan 2025
