Railways has released a notification for recruiting for the post of ALP (Assistant Loco Pilots) in January this year. The total vacancies announced were 5606.

Today, on 19th June 2024, Railways has released a circular where the vacancies have been increased. In view of additional demand received from Zonal Railways for ALPs, the vacancies are enhanced to 18799, a three times enhancement!!
