NPAT - 2025
NPAT 2025 (National test for Programmes After Twelfth) was conducted between 1 March to 31 May 2025. for admission to B.A. (Hons.) Liberal Arts, BBA, B.Sc. Finance, B. Com (Hons.), B. Sc. Economics, and BBA - Branding & Advertising in NMIMS Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Dhule, Navi Mumbai, Chandigarh, and Indore campuses.
The exam had three sections. There were 120 questions to be solved in 100 minutes with no sectional time limit. Each question carried 1 mark, and there was no negative marking for wrong or unattempted questions.
A serious candidate who solved the Mock-NPATs from T.I.M.E. would find the exam an easy affair.

Quantitative Reasoning
This section had a good mix of students. Most of the questions could have been easily completed by the students who had worked on the basic concepts. Very few questions involved a lengthy solution; the rest could be easily solved in around a minute.

Logical Reasoning
This was arguably the easiest section in the examination, with almost all the questions very straightforward and less time-consuming. Apart from analytical reasoning and critical reasoning-based questions, there was also a good representation of non-verbal reasoning-based questions. Almost all the questions could be easily solved within a minute. There were a few questions that involved the usage of basic mathematics, too.

Verbal Reasoning
The questions were pretty straightforward. The RC passages were from diverse themes ( socio culture, history, science ). The questions under RC were mostly direct in nature, and only a couple of questions were inference-based. The questions based on Parajumbles were of a moderate difficulty level, whereas Grammar-based questions can be classified as easy.

Expected cutoffs
Overall, the examination was on the expected lines; the cutoff for the BBA program of the Mumbai campus is expected to be around 75 to 80 marks.
