SSC has released a notice warning candidates of using unfair practices in the exams. In the same notice, it has also released an advisory to test takers
Warning: Zero tolerance towards malpractices.
1. Remote access to exam computers: If any one tries to access the exam computer from remote devices, SSC has deployed advanced technological solutions to detect such cases.
2. Impersonation (someone else writing the exam) – Aadhaar, biometrics, facial recognition, CCTV, and AI tools are used to detect these.
3. Passing of Chits/Unfair Help – Detected via CCTV and AI analytics
If the invigilators find out that a candidate is indulging in unfair practices, they may not interrupt the exam of the candidate so as to not to disturb other sincere candidates taking the exams honestly. But, subsequently in respect of candidates indulging in such malpractices, based on electronic evidence, their scores will not be processed and action will be taken to debar them
Any attempt to indulge in unfair means will invite severe action as cancellation of candidature and debarment from present and future examinations.
Advisory:
1.Don’t write answers on rough sheets first and then enter them later all at one go – the system may flag this as a measure of malpractice.
2.Don’t talk to others or look at other candidates’ screens.
3.Keep your Aadhaar biometrics unlocked – verification will be done multiple times.
In short - Be honest and mind your own business!
