PNB has released the notification for the engagement of Apprentices. Total number of training seats is 5138.
(A) Important Dates :
Online Registration : 08.02.20264 to 24.02.2026.
Online Examination : 1 st week of March 2026
(B) Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.01.2026) :
Educational Qualification : Graduation from a recognized University/ Institute.
Age : Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years
(C) Duration of Training and Stipend :
Total Duration of training will be of one year (i.e. 12 months) from the date of contract. The one-year training will include 2 weeks’ Basic Training and 50 weeks’ On-the-Job Training.
The engaged apprentices are eligible for following stipend per month for the contract period of 01 (one) year
Rural / Semi-Urban / Urban: 12,300/-
Metro: Rs.15000/-
(D) Selection Procedure :
Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of
i) Online Written Test,
ii) Document Verification,
iii) Test of Local Language, &
iv) Medical Examination:

Test of local language:
• The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the specified local languages of that State.
• Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
• For other candidates, the test for knowledge of local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted when the candidate is called for document verification by the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged as apprentice.
(E) Application Fee:
PwBD--- Rs. 400/-+GST @18% = Rs.472/-
Female/ SC/ ST ---- Rs. 600/-+GST @18% = Rs.708/-
GEN/OBC ----- Rs. 800/-+GST@18% = Rs.944/-
GEN/OBC/EWS (Male): Rs. 800/- + GST @18% = Rs. 944/-
GEN/OBC/EWS (Female): Rs. 600/- + GST @18% = Rs. 708/-
SC / ST / PWBD (Male/Female): Rs. 200/- + GST @18% = Rs. 236/-
TRANSGENDER : Rs. 200/- + GST @18% = Rs. 236/-
