Quantitative Aptitude:

This section can be rated as easy to moderate. No new question types/patterns of questions were asked in this shift of the exam.

There were fifteen questions (3 sets) on Data Interpretation (five questions each on the Table, Line Graph (2 lines) and Caselet). The questions based on the Table were calculation-based.

The table contains information on the difference between red and blue balls in column I and the percentage of Red balls in column II. The line graph contains two lines. The first line gives info on the number of TVs sold, and the second line gives the difference between TVs and Cell phones. Also, it was mentioned that cellphones were less than TVs sold.

There were five questions each on Approximations and Quadratic Comparisons. These were easy to attempt.

Individual questions from the Arithmetic topics were ten in number. These were a combination of easy, moderate, and difficult ones. These questions were based on Ages, Ratio, Profit and Loss, Averages, Time, Speed and Distance, Boats and Streams, Mensuration, etc.

A student could, therefore, have solved around 18 – 19 questions in 20 minutes, if he chose judiciously.
