Railway Recruitment Boards (Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India) have released the short recruitment notification for various posts of level - 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The total vacancies are 22000.

The vacancies are not as huge as expected, but Railways does increase the vacancies 2-3 times at a later stage! Let's hope the same happens for this notification as well!

Opening date of Application: 21.01.2026

Closing date of Submission of Application: 20.02.2026

Age (as on 01.01.2026): 18 - 33 years
