ABOUT TG EAPCET EXAM

The Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy (Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test-2025 (TG EAPCET-2025) is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses in the state of Telangana.

EAPCET is a state level entrance test, held once a year.  Candidates must qualify the test by securing minimum qualifying cut-off marks. TG EAPCET-2025 will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) for entry into the first year of the following Undergraduate Professional courses offered in the Universities & Private unaided and affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for TG EAPCET-2025:

(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or should have passed or appeared Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training. 

(ii) The minimum eligibility criteria shall be at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects specified (MPC / BiPC).

(iii) Exam pattern: Marks – 160 (80M/B; 40P; 40C); Duration: 180 minutes. No negative marking.

Criteria for Ranking:  The TG EAPCET-2025 ranks will be allotted purely based on the performance (normalized marks) in the TG EAPCET-2025 examination.

NOTE: AP EAPCET-2025 will also have similar criteria, but exam is conducted by JNTU Kakinada.
