SSC has been springing surprises for the last few weeks. First, SSC announced the exam calendar for 2024-25 and now SSC has released the final result of CGLE 2023 ! Announcing the final result of an exam in the same year, in which the exam was held, is no less than a great achievement for SSC.

The result of  CGLE 2023 Tier-I was declared on 19.09.2023. CGLE 2023 Tier-II  was conducted from 26.10.2023 to 27.10.2023. And on 04.12.2023 the final result is out.

Based on the aggregate performance  of candidates in Section-I + Section-II of Paper-I of Tier-II, candidates were shortlisted for evaluation of Section-III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test Module and Data Entry Speed Test (for all posts except Statistical Investigator Grade-II). Evaluation of Section-III was not considered for candidates who failed to qualify in Section I + Section II and they will not be considered for further selection process.. A total of 39,273 ( except SI, Grade II ) candidates were found to be eligible for evaluation of Section III.

Based on the overall performance of candidates in Tier-II Examination only, the merit list has been prepared, as per details given below.

(A) Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Tier-II [Paper-I (Section I + Section II) + Paper-II]

(B) Statistical Investigator Gr. II (SI): Tier-II [Paper-I (Section I + Section II) + Paper-II]

(C) All posts other than JSO and SI: Tier-II [Paper-I (Section I + Section II)]

 Total of 7859 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted. Category-wise breakup is as follows. Documentation verification will now be done by the respective user departments.
