The RRB PO (Scale I) Prelim examination is scheduled to be held on 3rd and 4th Aug, followed by the IBPS RRB Clerk exam to be held on the 10th, 17th and 18th Aug. For the first time, IBPS has introduced a section-wise time limit for this exam.

Quantitative Aptitude:

According to the feedback received from our students who appeared for this exam, this section can be rated as easy to moderate.

There were sixteen questions on DI (five questions each on Bar Graph, Double Pie chart and Caselet). The questions on DI were easy to moderate and time consuming.

Individual questions in this section were based on topics like Ages, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Partnership, Simple and Compound Interest, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Mixtures & Alligations, Probability and Mensuration. Students have informed us that these questions were a combo of easy and moderate ones. One needed a good command of fundamentals to attempt these questions successfully.

There were five to six questions each on Missing Number Series and Approximations. These questions were easy to moderate to solve.

Reasoning Ability:

This section has been tagged as 'easy to moderate'.

There were twenty questions on Puzzles (Linear Arrangement (seven persons all facing North; Fruit), Square Arrangement (Eight persons), Month + Date based puzzle (4 Months, 2 Dates), Box based puzzle (10 persons; Purchase). The questions based on Puzzles can be labelled as easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level.

Questions on Symbols Notations (Inequalities), Chinese Coding-Decoding and Blood Relations were easy to crack. The questions based on Syllogisms (three statements and two conclusions) (‘Only a few’) were easy to moderate.
