As per feedback received from our students who appeared for this exam, the exam can be rated as easy to moderate.

The section-wise analysis of the above-mentioned session, as reported by our students, is given below:

Numerical Ability:

This section can be rated as 'Easy to Moderate'.

Data Interpretation: There were ten questions (2 sets) based on data interpretation, and they were easy to solve.

One set was based on Table (4X3), which contained the sale of 4 products on three different days, and the second set was based on a Line Graph.

Number Series: There were three questions on Number Series (Missing Number) which can be rated as easy to moderate.

Simplifications: There were ten questions on Simplifications, of which two to three questions were calculations-based, and the rest were easy to solve.

Individual Quant Questions: There were twelve questions from topics of Simple Equations, Ages, Percentages, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Averages, Mixtures and Alligations and Mensuration. These were a combination of easy and moderate ones.

A student could, therefore, have solved around 25 - 26 questions in 20 minutes if he chose judiciously.

Reasoning:

This section has been given an 'Easy' tag.

There were eighteen questions on Puzzles (Circular Arrangement (8 persons all facing inside), Two Row Arrangement (10 persons; 5 facing North and 5 facing South), Day based puzzle (Monday to Sunday), Comparisons (weights)) which were easy to solve.

There were three questions on Direction Sense. These questions were easy to solve.

The three questions on Deductions (Syllogisms) (3 statements, 2 conclusions) were easy to moderate in nature. The five questions, each on the Letter Sequence and Coding-Decoding, were easy to solve.

About 30 to 32 questions could be solved in 20 minutes. As reported by our students, the topic-wise split is as given below.

English Language:

This section has been tagged as 'Easy to Moderate' by our students.

  • The lone Reading Comprehension passage was conventional in its presentation and comprised of nine questions. The passage comprised of 350 to 400 words. The passage was based on the topic 'How people react/do different Jobs'. There were two questions on 'Synonyms', one question on Antonym and one question on fill in the blank with phrase.
  • There were six questions on the 'Cloze Test'. The presentation was traditional.
  • There were five questions each on 'Error Identification' and 'Sentence Reordering'.
  • There were four questions on 'Wrongly Spelt Words' which were easy to solve.
  • There was one question on Word usage (1 word; 3 usages)

Thus, about 22 - 23 questions could be solved in 20 minutes in the English section. The break-up of the questions is as follows:
