Great Lakes offers a one-year MBA program - PGPM - for professionals with 2+ years of experience and a two-year PGDM for those with 0-2 years’ experience. 1 Year Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM)
The PGPM is offered to candidates with 2+ years of work experience. PGPM Class of 2021 has a collective work experience of 1200+ years, and an average work experience of 3.4 years. 2 Year Post Graduate Program in Management (PGDM)

Eligibility and Application Process:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience by 30th April, 2022 for PGPM. Students with 0-2 years’ experience can apply for PGDM
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 60% across 10th, 12th & UG
- Valid CAT (2020/21), XAT (2021/22), GMAT (taken after 1st Jan 2019) and CMAT (2021/22) score

Profile Based Selection Process:
Great Lakes Institute of Management follows profile-based shortlisting process. Factors that are considered include duration and quality of work experience, past academic performance, application essay (SOP), workplace initiatives & achievements, extra-curricular participation, ranks held, AWT & PI performance – communication skills, clarity of thought, attitude, motivation, general & business awareness.
While Great Lakes does not have a pre-defined cut-off for the entrance scores it accepts, considering the in-class pool, safe scores of 600+ in GMAT, 85+ in CAT/XAT and 98+ in CMAT are recommended. For candidates entering multiple scores, the best one would be considered and hence all valid scores should be submitted.
Early Interview Process:
Following candidates can submit their applications in Cycle 1, pending entrance test scores to be considered for Early Interviews:
- Awaiting CAT 2021 results
- Appearing for GMAT by 10th January, 2022
- Yet to appear for XAT 2022
Candidates with exceptional profiles will be invited for interviews in Cycle 1, after which they will have to update their scores for the final decision to be taken. Candidates not invited for early interviews can still update their scores and be considered for Cycle 2.
Scholarships:
Great Lakes Institute of Management offers Diversity & Merit-Based scholarships worth up to ₹2 Crore. There is no separate application process for scholarships, all selected candidates who accept their offers in Cycle 1 & 2 will be considered for evaluation.
