IIM Raipur has recently completed final placements for their 2014-16 PGP batch. Out of a 116 students, 5 students opted out of the placement process, the remaining 111 students were successfully placed during the campus placement process. A total of 70 companies recruited these students.

Sales and marketing was the most sought after domain in this year's placement season,it constituted a total of 30% of the overall job offers, where as 26 % of the batch secured jobs in BFSI domain.

Some of the top recruiters were Accenture, Berger Paints, Bharat Forge, Bharat Petroleum, Cognizant, CRISIL, Daimler, Deloitte, DS Group, Future Group, HDFC Bank, HT Media, ICICI Bank, Idea Cellular, Infosys BPO, JPMorgan Chase, JSPL, KPMG, L&T, Maruti Suzuki, SBI,Tata Steel and Wipro.
Some of first time recruiters who participated in this year's recruitment process include Aditya Birla Financial Services, Arcesium, Arvind Mills, Britannia, Carborundum Universal, Fidelity Investments, Google and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles.
As far as lateral placements are concerned, ICICI Bank offered multiple profiles in Finance, Marketing and HR, while Adaequare, Cognizant, GHCL, iNautix and MAQ software participated in the lateral recruitment process this year and offered roles ranging from Leadership to Advisory Services, Business Development, Decision Science, Project Management and Business Strategy.

Interestingly the median salary of the entire batch was more than their average salary, it was 13.5 Lacs p.a.
The highest domestic salary offered during the final placements was a whopping INR 21.5 Lacs p.a.
